About the Regional Manager
Hi, I'm Sandra, Manager of YogaBugs Moonee Ponds. I am also a Remedial Massage therapist and Certified Infant Massage Instructor with 2 busy YogaBugs of my own.I've been doing Yoga for over 8 years and, particularly since having children of my own, have found it to be the most effective and holistic form of exercise - balancing muscular strength and flexibility whilst providing a sense of calmness and overall wellbeing. At the moment I'm loving Hot Yoga, but have previously enjoyed pre-natal, Baby Om and Hatha yoga. As well as the personal enjoyment and benefits I get from yoga, my passion for YogaBugs has really come from my own children and also from my massage clients. My little YogaBugs (ages 2 and 5) love joining in with the little creatures on Waybaloo as they do their “Yogo” and we have experienced some fabulous results with gaining confidence in using their bodies, helping them find some calmness and concentration, not to mention a few lovely long naps after a yoga session – as a parent you’ve got to love that! In the longer term, my massage clients – many of whom are still really young, are struggling with stress management and muscular aches and pain caused by lots of sitting, driving and computers and not enough exercise. I encourage all my clients to find an activity that they enjoy to get their bodies moving, and Yoga is my recommended exercise of choice. YogaBugs classes are lots of fun - there is always a wonderful adventure for the children to look forward to - maybe a surfing adventure or a magical trip into the jungle. Perfect for all children - boys and girls, children with special needs, and even something us big kids can join in with at home! So, do something fantastic for your kids for now and for the future – stretch their imaginations and their bodies and let them catch the YogaBug today. I look forward to seeing you in a YogaBugs class in 2011! Namaste, Sandra
